2021 HOLIDAY SEASON
"-alone we can do so little, together we can do so much."
Together the MWH community came together to provide an enchanting Christmas meet and greet experience for upwards of 50 families including 70+ children! The event provided a coloring and post office station to support our efforts in sending heart to our US airmen in Qatar!
Through our Phone a Friend program we were able to bless three families with pantry items, holiday meals and more with the helping hands of our MOMS village.
Lastly MOMS with Heart adopted the Nurse staff at Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists, collecting and delivering gifts for 18+ staff members. With the help from some small local businesses, Daught N Designs, Go-Pro Contracting of CNY, Nora Jade Designs and more.
All three projects were an overwhelming success & we cant wait to serve the community for the next holiday season.
A NOT SO SCARY HALLOWEEN
With the helping hands of both MOMS and a plethora of small, locally owned businesses… we were able to creep into the families of CNY’s holiday fun
Some of our Sponsors:
Heart, Home and Community, Go-Pro Contracting of CNY, Daught N Designs, Nora Jade Designs, Convenient Counseling Services, ReikiRoma, JLH Designs, Discount Dumpsters, Think Pawsitive Dog Training and more!
A MICRO COMMUNITY THAT GIVES BACK TO CENTRAL NEW YORK!
Phone a Friend and Food Blessings Baskets 2020
MWHCNY helps connect their members with their village by gifting ‘Phone A Friend’, through the holidays. Sometimes our pride can knock us down, all we need are helping hands to lift us back up! How it works: we provide a sign up for sponsors amongst members, a voluntary duty. The team provides a child or family’s needs to assigned sponsors (limited to MWHCNY group members). We organize, wrap and deliver help to those experiencing a tough season in life. Placing their needs in the hands of a Mom who’s been there before, wants to help and has the means. From clothes to food in their belly, the MWHCNY team is the connector for local families uncomfortable asking for help directly. From helping just two families in 2019 to almost ten families in 2020! We are so proud of all of our community growth!
